Our Services.

Your Initial Visit:

Non-emergency first visits are the times when the patient and doctor meet to discuss any dental wants or needs. This initial visit includes a comprehensive examination of the teeth and soft tissues of the mouth. Any necessary radiographs will be taken at that time in order to develop a complete diagnosis. During the initial examination, if a treatment plan is necessary, we will develop that plan to meet your needs. We will then discuss our findings and recommendations with you. If alternatives exist, we will explain these along their advantages and disadvantages. Before any procedure begins, we will answer any and all of your questions and let you know the fees and estimated number of appointments needed to complete your treatment.

Emergency Care:

If you have need for emergency treatment, we encourage you to call the office immediately. We will address that need and relieve any immediate discomfort you may have. Emergency treatment, in and of itself, almost always constitutes one visit. Be aware that additional visits may be required to finalize any initial therapy. You can rest assured that we accept and answer emergency calls as soon as possible, 24 hours a day.

For Your Comfort:

We believe that your visits should be as relaxed and pleasant as possible. Please inform our staff if you have any special needs or if we can do anything to make your treatment experience more comfortable.

Technology:

We strive to provide our patients with the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art techniques as possible. We utilize an intra-oral camera with a toothbrush-sized lens that projects images onto a computer monitor. The biggest advantage to this system is that it allows the patient to view exactly what the doctor or hygienist is seeing. An added benefit is that we find an educated patient then tends to take greater ownership of their oral health.

An additional tool we use is a laser caries detection wand that aids in detecting cavities while they are still small and easy to restore. Less trauma to a tooth means less pain and a happier mouth!

Newer technology we are now featuring is oral cancer screening. Research shows that with careful examination and a simple, non-invasive mouth rinse test, oral cancers can be detected much earlier, ideally resulting in higher cure rates. This has become standard practice in our office.

Finally, in addition to general dentistry, we also complete implant-supported crown & bridge restorations as well as fit patients with traditional crown & bridgework and dentures.
